Hello and thank you for visiting Lady Weight Lifter.
My own fitness story starts way back when in high school. My weight started to spiral out of control after having 5 surgeries in 4 years. Then college happened and the lack of sleep, full time job, full time class schedule, and late night pizzas all started to take their toll.
I started to try and do something about it then. I talked to other classmates and they suggested cardio. Just straight cardio. Well, that didn’t go very well. Nothing is more horrible than being on a treadmill for an hour or more! So I fell off the wagon.
Flash forward to just after graduation. I had moved in with my fiance (now husband) and we started going to the gym. He suggested I lift so I went online and found a lifting routine and started seeing some great results. Unfortunately life happened and I had fallen off the wagon again due to the change in my work schedule.
Now, some years later I am back on track with my fitness. I’m losing weight, I’m lifting, and I’m eating (mostly) right.
I get that fitness is a journey. Because mine sure has been. I’ve tried everything to lose weight and live my best life. I’ve done keto, paleo, pescatarian, cardio boxing, straight cardio, Weight Watchers. I get that it is hard. That’s why I want to share with you my journey. Because I want yours to be just a little bit easier. Because I want to cheer you on as you finally wear that pretty dress you haven’t been able to in god knows how long. I’m here to help you along the way!
My goal is to help you along your journey. Whether it’s exercise, nutrition, finding balance. I’m here for you.
